Woodland Schools received threat against students

STREATOR — Woodland school officials say they were made aware of a threat to students on Wednesday night. Superintendent Ryan McGuckin says a high school student made the threat to a group of students, saying that there would be violence at the school on Thursday. McGuckin says the district is fully cooperating with the Livingston County Sheriff’s office regarding the threat, along with the family of the student. Officials say school will resume as regularly scheduled Thursday morning. Anyone with information regarding the threat is asked to contact the district office.
