Ottawa man stabbed at campground near Sheridan

SHERIDAN — An Ottawa man was allegedly stabbed by a Grand Ridge woman during an incident in Sheridan early this morning. The La Salle County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the Rolling Oaks Campground just before 1 AM this morning after they were told a man had been stabbed. Authorities say when they arrived, they found 42-year old Juan Gaytan with three non-life threatening stab wounds to his arm. Deputies say they arrested 38-year old Kayla Baker in the incident, and charged her with aggravated domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery. Baker was taken to the La Salle County Jail, her bond is pending.
