OTTAWA – A wet and rainy weekend filled with numerous bands of showers and thunderstorms caused minor flooding in areas and some roads to temporarily close. The National Weather Service reports that some areas received for 6″ of rain in the last 48 hours, including many areas in Lee, LaSalle, Bureau and Putnam counties.
