PRINCETON – The Bureau County Health Department report that mosquitoes have tested positive for West Nile Virus. Insects collected in Princeton and along the Hennepin Canal last week were shown to be infected. They urge the public to reduce the risk of mosquito bites to prevent the spread of the disease. They also suggest you report areas where stagnant water has been sitting for more than a week, such as ditches or flooded yards.
