KINGS – A multi-agency training exercise will be taking place in Ogle County on Saturday at the school in Kings. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an active school shooting drill along with the Ogle/Lee Fire Protection District, Rochelle Fire Department, Ogle County Emergency Management and Kings School District starting at 8 a.m. Residents are reminded that this is just an exercise and not an actual event. The grounds of the school will be closed during this time, with only authorized personnel allowed.
