LASALLE – LaSalle’s City council is recommending new traffic control devices for an Elementary school. In a meeting Monday, the streets, alley and traffic committee, recommended traffic regulations near NorthWest Elementary School. School Board officials say they’re concerned with pedestrian safety and speeding. The committee plans to place a stop sign at the corner of St. Vincent’s and Lindberg as well as making the alley between Linberg and NorthWest, a one way going North to South. The goal is to alleviate traffic in the area to make pick up and drop offs safer for parents and children.
