STREATOR – Tuesday morning one man was arrested after an apparent burglary at a Streator motel. In a release from Police Chief Kurt Pastirik at 7:30 a.m. they were called to the 2100 block of Bloomington Street for criminal damage to property. After an investigation it was determined that a motel room had been burglarized. Officers located and arrested 24-year-old Cortez L. Shepherd of Galesburg and charged him with the alleged burglary. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail with Bond yet to be set.
