AURORA – A man in Aurora is accused of a burglary on Wednesday in which he allegedly stole women’s underwear from a home. According to the Aurora Police Department just before midnight on August 15th they received a call from the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue from a homeowner who heard noises that someone might be in her home. She reportedly locked herself and her two children in a bedroom. As officers arrived, they spotted a man reportedly fleeing the scene and detained him at his vehicle. After an investigation, police allege two pairs of women’s underwear were found in his vehicle that the homeowner identified as hers. Arrested and charged with residential burglary was 26-year-old Uriel Cardenas of Aurora. He was taken to the Kane County Jail.
