PERU – The LaSalle, Peru Shared Service Committee met to appoint members as liaisons on Tuesday. The two cities appointed Peru’s Police Chief Doug Bernabei as Police Operations Liaison and LaSalle Sergeant, Scott Samolinski as building and grounds liaison. Chief Bernabei says that mutual aide will be given as per usual from LaSalle and Peru. LaSalle’s Mayor Jeff Grove believes the price tag for the location should be less expensive in regards to features like locker rooms because of Oglesby’s withdrawal from the shared service location. A presentation of operational plans will be given at the next shared service committee, September 25th.
