LOSTANT – Surveys were sent out to Lostant residents in August and this month on behalf of the North Central Illinois Council of Governments in order to apply for a grant to replace the water tower. The grant would help cover the cost of replacing the water tower. The survey that was sent is to determine the income of residents of the community to see what assistance would be available. Residents who need a replacement survey can get a new one by calling (815)-433-5830. In August the Lostant water tower was drained and interior maintenance work was completed.
