SANDWICH – A woman pedestrian has died after being struck by a train Friday in southern DeKalb County. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and the Sandwich Police Department, 53-year old Kimberly A. Cruver of Sandwich was pronounced dead at the scene before 5 p.m. near Eddy Street in Sandwich. No foul play is suspected and the incident is still under investigation.
