HARDING – A tractor-trailer being driven by a man from Montgomery struck two cows Wednesday night in LaSalle County. According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s office, 28-year-old Jesus Ramos was eastbound around 8:30 p.m. on US Route 52 near Harding when he collided with the bovines. He lost control of the Semi and went off the roadway. One passenger in the truck was transported to an Ottawa hospital. There was no word on if the cows survived the incident.
