MORRIS – Two were arrested early Saturday morning along Interstate 80 near Morris for possession of a stolen firearm. In a release by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, they say that after midnight a deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for allegedly speeding. During the stop, the deputy noticed what appeared to be bullet holes on the rear of the vehicle and a search was initiated. During the search it was allegedly discovered that a loaded pistol out of Sprinfield was found. Taken into custody was 18-year-old Antaysia Broadway of Joliet and a 17-year-old male juvenile. Both are in custody awaiting bond hearings.
