OTTAWA – A fake 911 phone call scam has been reported in LaSalle County. According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, the call comes in on a recipient’s phone listed as 911 Emergency. Officials say if you receive one of these types of calls it is not coming from law enforcement. They say to not answer the call and do not give out any personal information.
