STREATOR – Two people were arrested in Streator Wednesday morning after a Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team Investigation. According to Tri-Dent, they along with Streator Police and Livingston County Investigators executed a search warrant at a residence located on the 1600 block of Illinois Route 23 in Streator. According to authorities, 44-year-old Noel Villa was detained without incident and a search was conducted of the residence, where nine pounds of purported cocaine and other materials associated with packaging and distributing of narcotics was found. It was reported that while agents were on scene at the residence, 42-year-old Concepcion V. Herrera of Streator, who Tri-dent say is associated with Villa, arrived and was taken into custody on a LaSalle County Warrant. Authorities say Herrera had allegedly delivered over 15 grams of cocaine to Ti-Dent on two occasions. Both Villa and Herrera were transported to the LaSalle County Jail with bonds set at 2 million dollars each.
