PRINCETON – A Princeton church will host a vigil for lives lost in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting on Friday. Starting at noon, at the request of the congregation, Open Prairie United Church of Christ will have a half-hour time of prayer for victims and their families. Rev. Adam Webber says his congregation feels touched by the mass murder, and welcomes people of all faiths to come together to pray, reflect and receive healing from the tragedy. The Tree of Life Synagogue was where 11 people were killed by an alleged anti-Semitic gunman on October 27th.
The Open Prairie United Church of Christ is located at 25 E. Marion Street in Princeton.
