SHERIDAN – One person has died after a two vehicle collision involving a semi-tractor trailer and a car Monday. According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Illinois Route 71 four miles east of Sheridan before 8 p.m. for the crash. Newark and Sheridan EMS Personnel responded to the scene. The incident is under investigation by the LaSalle Country Sheriffs’ office, the LaSalle County Coroner’s office, and the Illinois State Police. The victims identity has not been released pending notification of the family.
