PRINCETON – Power lines are still down, causing road closures in Bureau County. According to the Bureau County Highway Department, power lines located west of the railroad tracks on the western portion of Angling Road resulted in closure of a section Angling Road. This particular area has multiple access points, and the closures shall be at the following intersections:
Angling Road at 2750 East Street (CH 19)
Zearing Blacktop (CH 7)
2550 East Street (North leg of CH 5 coming north out of Malden)
Immediately local traffic only will have access from Route 34. No traffic from Route 34 will be able to cross this section of Angling Road.
Notifications will be sent as soon as roads are open for traffic.
