PERU – The city of Peru will make a motion at the end of the month to annex land for a roundabout road project. In a city council meeting on Monday, an agenda item was placed for the city’s next council meeting to make a motion to zone and annex 13 acres along Peoria Street and Plank Road. The project will entail the widening and realignment of north Peoria Street and a roundabout located at the corner of Plank Road. City Engineer Eric Carl said the annexation will be voted on at the city’s December 26th meeting.
