SAVANNA – A northwest Illinois man is charged with felony possession of child pornography. According to the Illinois State Police, an investigation began in late August after receiving a cyber-tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. Authorities say leads were developed in St. Louis County, Missouri which reportedly was traced back to 50-year-old David A. Ketelsen at his Savanna, Illinois address. After a thorough investigation Illinois State Police say they recovered evidence to support the arrest of Ketelsen in Carrol County and charged him with possession of child pornography, a class 2 felony. Authorities say that additional charges may be forthcoming upon further examination of electronic evidence. The Illinois State Police say that through the network of Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force affiliated detectives, the St. Louis County Police Department, the investigation was brough to a successful conclusion.
