ILLINOIS – The American Red Cross urgently needs blood donors to give now to help ensure blood remains available for vital medical treatments and emergencies. According to the Red Cross a decline in donations happens from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Day, when donors get busy with family gatherings and travel. A special thanks to those who give blood through January 6th will include getting a long-sleeved Red Cross t-shirt. Upcoming blood donations will be Thursday in Princeton at First United Methodist Church from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and in Ottawa at First Baptist Church from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Weekdays 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.
