OGLESY – Illinois Valley Community College’s Continuing Education Center will offer “10 Hour Construction” (CEU-7222-01) from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30 and 8 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 31. Instructor Jeff Clark will cover major provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) in the construction industry including the inspection and citation process, working and walking surfaces including ladders and scaffolds, hazardous materials, fall protection, electrical safety, material handling and more.
Additional topics can be customized to meet participants’ needs. OSHA’s 10 Hour Construction card will be earned upon completion.
