STREATOR – Polling places open tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the 2019 Spring Primary Election. Voters in Streator will decide whether to keep Jimmie Lansford as their mayor, or give the opportunity to Siobhan Elias or current councilmen Joe Scarbeary. Council members Tara Bedei and Brian Crouch are up for re-election. William Price and Toni Pettit are challenging the two for their seats. Voters in Streator within LaSalle County will also choose whether to implement a public safety sales tax.
