EDGERTON, WI – Wisconsin State Police took a man who authorities describe as a person of interest into custody Saturday. According to Dane County Jail reports, around 1:30 AM Saturday they detained 37 year-old Eddie Lee Mentgen. He is currently awaiting extradition to Illinois.
Authorities say he may allegedly be involved in a homicide reported in Spring Valley on Friday. Police say that 28-year-old Marissa S Roberts was found dead inside an apartment on Ponsetti Drive around 7 PM Friday evening. Upon arrival, officers say they discovered Roberts deceased.
