PERU – Peru City Council members listened to an Earth Day presentation at Monday night’s meeting. Crystal Dean addressed the council to discuss the details of her Earth Day Peru, Illinois City Cleanup, which will take place next Monday, April 22nd. Dean encouraged volunteers to meet at 10am for the Shooting Park cleanup and 5:30pm for the Route 6 cleanup. She also explained that several local businesses have joined to help with the cleanup in order to help clean Peru of litter for Earth Day.
