LASALLE – LaSalle- Peru High School’s Choir raised $3,000 for the Illinois Valley PADS Shelter. Through a benefit concert called Unclouded Day, the choir raised funds to go towards PADS plans to add family rooms within the shelter. Senior Choir member and Student Ambassador Grace McCormick announced the news to LP Board members, Wednesday. A Ground-breaking ceremony at PADS Shelter in Peru will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m.
