STREATOR – The Sandy Ford Bridge in LaSalle County will be closed from Monday, May 13th – Thursday May 16th for inspections. A detour will not be posted. Digital sign boards indicate the hours of the closure will be from 8 AM – 4 PM each day. The bridge is located on County Highway 5 over the Vermillion River. The steel truss bridge was constructed in 1959.
