DEPUE – Depue Fire Chief Steven Rauh says four residents were injured in a structure fire 10:15 Tuesday morning. The mobile home, located in the Lakeview Mobile Home park was a complete loss. A family of six lives in the home, and according Chief Rauh all had escaped by the time responders arrived. The four injured were transported to St. Margaret’s in Spring Valley where their condition is not known at this time. Many area departments responded to the scene, including 10-33, Princeton Ambulance, LaSalle and Peru EMS, Putnam County EMS, Bureau, Ladd, Spring Valley, and Dalzell and Depue Fire. The State Fire Marshall was being called to the scene and more information is expected to be released later Tuesday by the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office.
