LASALLE – The LaSalle City Council would like to remind residents to properly package any garbage in preparation for garbage collection. On windy days, garbage is blown out of the garbage bins and into the streets and other yards during collection when it is not properly packaged. Properly bagging loose garbage and covering furniture in plastic will prevent loose garbage from blowing around and large furniture from being left on the curb. The city council reminds all residents to properly prepare their garbage for collection in order to keep the community in good shape.
