TROY GROVE – Thunderstorms brought high winds that knocked out power and damaged a building in Troy Grove. After midnight Wednesday the Troy Grove Fire Department was called to Troy Grove Township building on Vermillion Street after a section of the roof had blown off and took down power lines. Ameren crews were working into the dawn hours to restore power to around 500 customers.
