LASALLE – An Ottawa man was identified as the person found deceased last Saturday in the Illinois River near LaSalle. The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office said that 53-year-old David R. Gallina was found west of the Rt. 351 Shippingsport Bridge. Further information is expected to be released and the death is under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, Ottawa Police Department and the Illinois State Police.
