MENDOTA – The city of Mendota approved of adding traffic safety signs along 3rd Avenue. According to Alderman Jim Fitzpatrick the Mendota Police Department performed a study on several intersections and recommended stop and yield signs on 3rd Avenue. At Monday night’s meeting, council approved to place yield signs on 3rd Avenue along 1st through 5th street and a stop sign on 3rd Avenue and Division Street.
