LASALLE – LaSalle City Council held public comment at Monday night’s meeting to discuss food trucks in the city. Members of the public came out to voice their opinions regarding potential amendments to ordinances that would allow food trucks. Although many expressed their support for the growth of local business, others feared that it could hamper the success of brick-and-mortar restaurants. Alderman Reynolds explained that there are still many details that need to be fleshed out before the council can really begin to discuss the potential amendment.
