PUTNAM – A child has been airlifted to a Peoria hospital after authorities say they were run over by a riding lawn-mower. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office say that on Thursday just before 10 AM they were called along with the Henry Ambulance to a location in the community of Putnam where a 2-year-old child was injured. The press release that was issued did not give any further details on the condition of the child or the nature of the injuries, but that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
