OTTAWA – The Ottawa Police Department and Conservation Police say the search for a missing Ottawa woman is now a recovery operation. Illinois Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police Sergeant Phil Wire says crews will work through the snowfall expected in the next few days to search for 45-year-old Tina Donovan, but with challenges. According to the National Weather Service, by the weekend several inches of snow is possible and a chance for a period of mixed precipitation that could produce minor icing into Friday morning. Wire says searching the river will be difficult in the event of ice accumulation, but the search will be postponed if it gets unsafe. Last week Donovan’s vehicle was found at Starved Rock Lodge with some of her belongings later discovered near the river. Anyone with information regarding Donovan should contact the Ottawa Police Department or Illinois Department of Natural Resources Conservation Police.
