OGLESBY – The city of Oglesby is now accepting applications for Chief of Police. Last week, Chief Jim Knoblauch announced his plans for retirement by the end of April. Resumes, qualifications and letters of reference will be accepted now through the 21st. 10 years’ experience as a fully commissioned police officer and background in police administration is required.
