LASALLE – The city of LaSalle could have a big year ahead of them. First Ward Alderman Jim Bacidore announced that developers with CL Real Estate say they’re going to remodel the old Maytag Building on First Street by the end of 2020 and the long-awaited Kaskaskia Hotel to begin in September. City Engineer Brian Brown says a firm has been hired to begin internal design, like plumbing.
