PERU – The city of Peru’s street ratings system is out and up to seven streets in each ward are proposed for maintenance this year. The Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating system program was completed by Peru’s engineering department in the winter 2019, evaluating every roadway and ranking them on a scale of 1-10. In Ward 1, 11th, 12th and Peru Streets are on the agenda for maintenance. In Ward 2, Putnam Street, Venture and Becker Drive. In Ward 3, Church and Cross Street and in Ward 4, Hollerich Drive and Calhoun Streets.
