MENDOTA – City of Mendota Clerk Emily McConville announced Sunday that walk in payments of utility bills will no longer be accepted. Instead, payments must be in the form of check or money order and placed in the drop box on Illinois Ave adjacent to the clerks office. McConville states this would be until further notice. Payments can still be mailed. Anyone with any questions should call the clerks office.
