SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 488 new cases of COVID-19 in the state of Illinois on Friday. This brings the total number of positive cases to 3,026 with a total of 34 lives lost in 40 different counties. Bureau, Henry and Iroquois counties are also among those confirmed cases.
