Livingston County Health Department reports 6th case of COVID-19 in the county

PONTIAC – A sixth resident of Livingston County has tested positive for COVID- 19. According to the Livingston County Health department the case is a male in his 60s who is recovering at home in isolation.
Health officials say they continue to work closely with the Illinois Department of Public Health and have investigated and notified any individuals who may have had exposure to the individual who tested positive for coronavirus.
Details of the six cases are as followed:
1. Female in 60s – travel associated; isolated at home
2. Male in 60s – community spread; hospitalized
3. Female in 80s – community spread; hospitalized
4. Male in 70s – community spread; hospitalized
5. Female in 50s – contact of a confirmed case; isolated at home
6. Male in 60s – contact of a confirmed case; isolated at home
They say it can take approximately 2-5 days for results to come back after testing.
