Bureau County finds fourth case of COVID-19

PRINCETON – A 55-year-old woman is recovering at home after being tested positive for COVID-19 in Bureau County.  She is Bureau County’s fourth case of coronavirus disease.
Federal privacy restrictions prohibit the release of any additional information regarding this case. No further information regarding the investigation is available at this time.
“This is the fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 in Bureau County and the fifth in counties served by the Bureau, Putnam and Marshall County Health Departments. The first case was reported in Marshall County on March 23rd” said Hector Gomez, BPMCHD Administrator.
“As more testing becomes available we expect to see the number of confirmed cases continue to rise in our counties,” Gomez said.
