CHICAGO – Nine members of the Polish military’s Medical Corps have traveled to Chicago to support the fight against COVID-19.  The Polish doctors, nurses and emergency medical technicians recently treated COVID-19 patients in Europe, and are a part of the Illinois National Guard’s State Partnership Program with the Polish military.  The Polish medical team is expected to observe, advise and assist at medical facilities in the Chicagoland area through May 2nd.  The team will share the lessons it has learned in efforts to treat the Coronavirus in both Poland and Italy.
