SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health Sunday announced 2,126 new cases of coronavirus disease in Illinois, including 59 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 43,903 cases, including 1,933 deaths, in 96 counties in Illinois.
Since the pandemic began 214,952 tests have been performed on Illinois residents. Statewide on Sunday 1,267 COVID patients occupy ICU beds with 772 on ventilators.
