OGLESBY- The Park Rangers at Starved Rock State Park and Matthiessen State Park warned visitors about disturbing the rocks in and around streams.   They announced yesterday that they have had some destruction of the native habitat at Matthiessen State Park caused by a person or persons moving and stacking the stones in the creek bed.   Officials say disturbing the rocks can harm micro organisms and macro organisms.  They noted many amphibians such as salamanders, toads, frogs and other such as insects like mayflies, damselflies, crane flies, dragon flies and even snails lay their eggs on those rocks.
