OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department reported that an male in his 70’s has died from complications related to coronavirus. The individual had earlier tested positive for COVID-19, and is the 17th COVID-19 related death in the county. The LCHD also announced five additional cases of COVID-19, individuals ranging in age from their teens to their 70’s, bringing the total to 196 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic, with 144 recoveries.
