UTICA – Millions of visitors come to North Central Illinois to take in the wonders of Starved Rock State Park, but thousands leave something else behind – garbage.    Officials at the Utica attraction pleaded over the weekend on social media that people take responsibility for their actions while enjoying the scenery.

“The culture of selfishness and entitlement needs to end.  We are all connected to the environment around us and we can do better and be better.” they said Sunday.
