SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois State Board of Education released a guideline on how school districts should prepare for students returning to classrooms this fall during the pandemic.  The five page outline recommends cloth masks in the classroom, limiting class size, spacing out desks, and having staff change rooms instead of students.  They also give guidance on busses and what to do if a child tests positive for COVID-19.  They also advise that locker use be prohibited due to the inability to maintain 6 ft social distancing requirements.
