SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health says one person died from complications from Covid-19 on Sunday. That is the lowest number of daily deaths due to the virus since March 21st shortly after the pandemic was declared. The number of cases, though, continue to show an increase, with over 1,500 new cases reported, which is a 60% increase from one week ago.
