Three new confirmed cases in Livingston County

PONTIAC – Three more residents of Livingston County have tested positive for COVID-19.   The Livingston County Health Department on Tuesday say male in his 20s, male in his 50s and male in his 60s are all recovering in isolation.

LCHD officials continue to work closely with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and have investigated and notified any individuals who may have had exposure to this individual who tested positive for COVID-19.

Since the pandemic began, 4,066 tests performed on county residents have been confirmed negative, 66 of the previously reported confirmed cases have been removed from isolation, eleven cases remain active, and, two have died due to complications related to COVID-19.

As reported to the IDPH, the communities with the most cases since the pandemic began is as follows

Pontiac – 32

Dwight – 14

Fairbury – 6

Chenoa – 6
